Tokyo Accommodation

Nishi Shinjuku Hotel for the Tokyo leg - unbeatable value for its price, location and quality. It's a little known business hotel less than 7 mins walk from Shinjuku station. On the less seedy side of Shinjuku (the west) too. It's a nice quiet neighbourhood with lots of eateries and 24-hr convenience stores. Note: the pics on the hotel website are shyte!!! The rooms look much better when you see them in person (we quite enjoyed staying there). Like most hotels in Tokyo, the rooms *are* cramped but they more than suffice. Caution - the bath can get really hot! Hey, free onsen (add your own minerals)! More traveler photos here...
